Sweet Sunday Sketch 234 {happy hellos}

It's a long holiday weekend here in the states. I wish I could say we are at the lake relaxing soaking up some sun and sleeping in.....but no. Labor Day is all about soccer and we are enjoying the weekend with our soccer families. It's always a great time. I made sure to get my sketch card done early.

I used some new Studio Calico papers and new Lil' Inker Design stamps. Totally diggin' the fonts from the Sending You stamp set. I used the coordinating die, Mini Envelopes & Accessories dies to cut out the silver foil "you". Love the touch of shimmer!

I also used the Stitch Mats-circles an rectangles to create my panels. Those are my favorite. I can't wait to get the rounded rectangle stitched mats from LID. Did you order them yet?

Come Play along: simply make a card with this layout and use the InLinkz button down at the very end of Karen's post to enter your card. The links will close on Friday at 10 PM (Mountain Time). Day 2-Lil' Inker Designs August Release

Yay! it's finally time to share what I have cooked for the Lil' Inker Design August Release. I hope you enjoyed yesterday's post. I am loving the new Halloween goodies! You can purchase all of the new stamps and dies NOW, and for the next two days the DT will be showing off all the great new products.

Hopefully you arrived here from Lea Lawson's blog. If not, you'll want to head on over to the LID Blog. Laura's got all the details there about the new release and the prizes you can win.
Today I went soft and pretty with the gorgeous new products that are taking mail day to a whole new level.  I LOVE the new Sending You  and Send Pretty stamp sets. They work great together or all on their own.

I've got a trio of mini cards. These sweet little 3x3 notes were perfect to show off some of the simple sentiments and cute images.

This sentiment comes from Sending You stamp set. I also cut the smallest envelope from the Mini Envelope & Accessories die set. The sweet little bow is a stamp from the Send Pretty Mail stamp set.

This one shows off the teeny heart from the Mini Envelope & Accessories die and some stamps from Send Pretty Mail. I added some glossy accents to the pink heart.

Here a Stitched Mat-Rectangle and Pinking Edge Sentiment banner show off my favorite little snail and coordinating "snail mail" sentiment. I tucked in the die cut "YOU" from the Mini Envelope & Accessories die set.

Next I created a full size A2 card, to fit in a coordinating A2 envelope. You can pop a pack of envelopes in your cart when you purchase the Stitched Envelope Liner die. I never thought I wanted to take the time to finish the INSIDE of my envelopes and now I can't stop. It's such a pretty touch.

I added a few stamps from the Send Pretty Mail stamp set to the outside of my envelope.

This time I used the larger stitched envelope and die cut a sweet little smiley face. These are all part of the Mini Envelope & Accessories die set.

I love scripty die cut words.

Here is another look at the details on the envelope. The sentiment is from the Sending You stamp set.

Lil' Inker Designs August Release Blog Hop

Yay! it's finally time to share what I have cooked for the Lil' Inker Design August Release.   You can purchase all of the new stamps and dies NOW, and for the next three days the DT will be showing off all the Spook-tacular new products.

Hopefully you arrived here from Lea Lawson's blog. If not, you'll want to head on over to the LID Blog. Laura's got all the details there about the new release and the prizes you can win.
We are getting ready for Halloween with some cool new products I know you will LOVE! I used the Classic Halloween stamp set on this card.

It is a 4x4 set with this giant stamp with all these fun details included. I inked it up with some black archival ink on some Halloween papers from my stash. I used my Stitched Mats-circle and square for my card layers.

Here is a closer look. I also added in that sweet lil' ghost. He's from the Stitched Ghost die and I stamped a spooky face from Boo & Faces. Check out that stitching detail....awesome!

Moving on....how about a polka dotted ghost??!!! I used a purple, black and orange color combo for this boo card. The ghost was easy to create with the help of the awesome new Ghost Border Die set.

See that cool matching envie? LID is now selling A2 envelopes. There are so fun products releasing that also dress up those plain white envelopes. The orange argyle print paper was cut with the Stitched Envelope Liner Die. It is soooo cool and totally addicting.

I also added a few stamps to the back of the envelope. The bats are from the Classic Halloween set. I stamped them on the card front, too.

Here is a closer look. I used the sentiment from Boo & Faces. Simple and sweet! I tucked in a trio of black sequins.

I also wanted to remind you to pick up the cool new LID Angle Policy stamp we released last month. I stamped the back of my card, added another bat and gave it my signature!
